Hello everyone,
I'm trying to limit a subscriber so that he/she can only save a new post as a draft and not be able to publish at all (i.e. not even have the button there as an option).
Is that possible using role scoper? If not, why not!? (Jokes).

Michael, you can do that by assigning the user or [WP Subscriber] group a General Role [or Category Role(s)] of Post Contributor.
If trouble continues, make sure there are no Post Author or Post Editor role assignments affecting the user.
Finally, check Roles > RS Role Defs and make sure "Post Contributor" doesn't contain the publish_posts capability.
