[resolved] Role Manager Screwed Up My Blog! (2 posts)

Okay, here's the deal: I was trying to edit some user roles and I installed Owen Winkler's Role Manager plugin. I had used it with previous WP version and I didn't realize that it wasn't compatible with the latest version of WP.

I installed the plugin, tried to change a role, and realized that the backend seemed broken. I proceeded to deactivate the plugin, but when I deactivated it, all my WP-related stylesheets (blog, admin area) disappeared and now I get a 404 error whenever I try to access the backend (or anything else on the server, for that matter), I get a 404.

I usually am very good about DB backups, but I really dropped the ball recently and my latest backup is from the end of May.

Does anybody know what I messed up and how I can fix it?

    My URL is: http://the-madness.net

    thanks!

Update: I uploaded one of my old DB backups, but nothing was fixed. Then, I re-uploaded all of the WP files and it's still broken. All stylesheets are missing, and I'm getting 403's and 500's everywhere. If I refresh several times, pages will load for me, so the admin area is still accessible. I deactivated all plugins and nothing is working.

Is this a WP problem, or have I screwed something up internally (as in on the server)?
