   Anyone know of an alternative plugin that will accomplish the same task in 2.1? It doesn't seem to be working for me. Thanks

   Role Manager used to work for me, but I just discovered that it was breaking my visual editor!

   Somehow, it caused a JavaScript error when loading a post or page writing screen: 'tinyMCE is not defined'

   I have been dealing with a broken visual editor for at least a couple of weeks now, and I ended up reinstalling WP to fix it. When I activated all my plugins again, it disappeared. So I started deactivating stuff and it was when I turned off ROle Manager that the visual editor came back.

   Could it be interfering with another plugin, or did it break when WP went to 2.09 / 2.1??
