Ok, quite simply.. I have NextGen Gallery set up in my WP and I have a few different galleries set up. What I WANT is to be able to create a role that can be restricted to upload images ONLY to a specific gallery.
For example:
I would create a role titled "Dolche" and any user set to that role could only upload images to the gallery called "Dolche."
I have Role-Manager installed but I don't think it can do what I'm looking for. IS it possible to do what I want? Has it already been done or is there some magical, wonderful person out there who could do it for me, or tell me how to do it if it's not too difficult?
THANK YOU!
Old post, but this is what I want to do. Any ideas out there?
I can appreciate that comment as I am not a coder so I can only imagine.
However, if a plugin like Simple:Press Forum by Yellow Swordfish (http://www.stuff.yellowswordfish.com/simplepress-forum/) can give specific specific users admin access to different created forums, I would think you could do the same with NexGen Gallery. No?
Just trying to keep my dream alive. :)
Dreaming is a good thing... I only answer what currently is possible or not.

Hi Alex,
My question is slightly different. Non-admin users cannot use the gallery. Is there any way to change that so that authors or contributors can also add new galleries? Thanks.
Anouk
Yes , check the role settings

Now changed the roles and deleted capabilities with the role-manager plugin. Works perfectly. Thanks!
