    For some reason, I'm designing a slightly minimalistic theme and ran into this problem. When I right click anywhere open on the site, the "View Background Image" link is lighted up as if you were able to click on it and when you click on it, it shows my style.css file in text? Any fix?

    Most likely an error in your theme. Can you please provide a link to your site so we can look at the code?

    The site is in maintenance mode because it hasn't been launched yet. Is there any particular file I can pastebin the code for?

    Any ideas about this? It's really frustrating :x

    This is me right clicking on my header div, in an open space. http://i40.tinypic.com/3hqwx.jpg

    When I click "View Background Image" it links to my style.css file????

    Unless you provide a link to a page demonstrating the problem, no one will be able to offer much in the way of assistance.

    http://www.selecterz.com : I don't wanna keep the page live for very long, though. I just can't get back to doing much editing as this is a problem that's bothering me.

    Just right click anywhere and you can see "View Background Image" will always be an active link and clickable, which links directly to my style.css file....

    Have you tried:

    - deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    - switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    - resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    Yes, I went through all the proper steps to rule out if it is a plugin.

    Just put it on Twenty Eleven and it wasn't doing it. So it is a theme-specific problem. But, I worked with this theme before and it didn't do it. So it's something I did recently on this install.

    Any other suggestions on what may be causing this?

    Close thread. I found the fix. I had this in my body

    background-image:url(''); background-position: top-right; background-repeat: no-repeat; background-attachment: fixed;

    Just to stay there for when I wanted to use a background image and apparently you can't do that. Thanks for the suggestions.
