[resolved] Right border won't show up (6 posts)

    I inherited the site from someone else with this problem, and after working with the css for hours it is not resolving.

    The site is: http://www.theresarobb.com/start-your-journey/

    (It's the breadcrumbs at the top)

    And the css is:

    .builder-module-navigation {
    border-left: 2px solid #00A8E3 !important;
    border-right: 2px solid #00A8E3 !important;

    }

    I can affect the left border by playing with the css, but whatever I do to the right border, it remains invisible. Any ideas?

    Try using Firefox with the Firebug add-on for this kind of CSS troubleshooting. Or use whatever developer tool is available in your web browser.

    What is it that you're trying to do?

    You're specifying the width of that element to be 100%.

    As you have now added a border-left, your width is now beyond 100% and so the border-right is not seen.

    Reduce your width of 100%.

    Try this instead -

    #builder-module-51bdca35409a0-outer-wrapper {
        border-right: 2px solid #00A8E3;
        max-width: 958px;
        width: 100%;
    }

    Changing the width to the max-width of 958px worked beautifully - thank you!
