• Completely and utterly disgusting business practice – if you want to create a Pro version, add new features and create a Pro version. Don’t cripple the existing free version and then try to charge for the exact same features.

I’m curious, when the WordPress built-in upgrade said there was a new version, did it actually say “This upgrade will remove 2/3 of the features you’ve got and make the plugin useless. But you can always buy them back.”

  • Thank you for saving me from wasting my time with this. I can’t stand this kind of crap & the people who perform these kind of practices.

Don’t forget to mention all the extra features AdRotate Pro offers compared to The free one. Features that were never in the Free version in the first place.
And then there is premium support for every Pro user, without limitations.

    Just saying…

Arnan, you created a terrific plugin with a solid feature set and offer it for free to the WordPress community. For what it’s worth, I was glad to support your work, even though I didn’t actually need the Pro features, by purchasing the Pro version. May I simply thank you for giving me a very nice way to generate revenue from my site.

Then you charge for the new, extra features (and Pro support). You don’t take away all of the existing ones and then ask someone to pay to get them back.
