Ride Around Australia & Fundraising Site

    Hi Everyone,

    I’ve spent the last couple of days tinkering with my first ever WordPress site. My site is documenting the lead up to a five week trip in October when I’ll be travelling around Australia on a Yamaha Road Star and raising money for an Australian childrens cancer program.

    I have to say I like what I am seeing with WordPress so far and am getting pretty good results. I’m looking forward to doing some remote updates to the site as that will be a key componant to the journey in October. I will probably get an iPhone for the updating as I don’t think a netbook would survive the trip in my saddlebags.

    Anyway, keen to know what people think so please don’t be backward in coming forward.

    For my taste, the page looks too busy. There’s not enough white space, and far too much text.

    Add a photo or two to the main page, and maybe choose a font or layout that gives a bit more white space back, and separates things out.

    really, it’s just a basic inove theme
    like mrmist said – spice it up a bit

    Feedback like yours is what I need to help me improve my blog. As I mentioned in my opening post this is my first WP Blog.
