   I can't believe how difficult it is to figure out these php themes, definitely not HTML.

   Any pointers on where I might find good tutorials or a pointer on what .php file or document to edit to change the look of my page, actually removing the left sidebar and widening the middle column to fill in the extra space?

   Thanks for any tips

   You can edit the sidebars out of your "Page" and "Single Post" php

   Then you will have to adjust the width of your content in the Stylesheet.
