rfbp-link-image resizing issue

I see that the width of rfbp-link-image is hardcoded in the plugin to 114 pixels, and I’m not sure why. However, removing this styling, I haven’t yet found something that does the image resizing correctly. Maybe the width assignment here is a red herring. I’m working in a responsive theme (unfortunately not online, yet) in which the width of this widget can be quite large on smaller screen widths. The images that are associated with facebook links are always scaled poorly, as if they are scaled first to a very small size and then stretched again to fit a larger size.

Any ideas for a fix or workaround?
