Rewriting Dynamic URLs

In a couple of my templates throughout WordPress I have “hard-coded” the dynamic URLs to some WordPress pages, however I have recently began using Permalinks as a way to use static URLs. My problem is that these dynamic URLs are not being rewritten to their static counterpart, e.g., cartmel.lusu.co.uk/ (See the submenu of items- Freshers Week, Extrav etc …)

Any ideas?
