Rewrite Permalinks %postname% (1 post)

    Quick Question

Is it possible, with available Types options, to make my custom post type posts turn out as
    ro0td0main.com/post-name/
    instead of
    ro0td0main.com/custom-post-type-name/post-name/
    ?

    Notes

    - My wordpress permalinks are set as such (ro0td0main.com/%postname%/ ) and I've been flushing permalinks after each attempt to adjust this in the Edit Custom Post Type options

    - I did scan through all the threads, one possible hardcode option no longer works with newer WP versions and I would prefer not to have to hardcode, if possible, for fear the method will no longer work in future releases of WP.

    - I did find a thread showing there is a plugin that can do this but that plugin hasn't been updated for a few versions and I like to rely on niche plugins as little as possible because of that reason.
