Just upgraded to latest and greatest of WordPress. Had a tricky time working with templates, but I think I figured it out.
Please take a look http://amentfamily.us/ and give me your thoughts.
Please also verify that the picture gallery works in FireFox..if you have it.

Looks great, the gallery shows up just fine in Firefox... On a sidenote, cute kids! :D Glad to have you in the WordPress community. :)

Thanks for the kind words. The site is basicly a family site where I can share pictures with relatives spread out over the U.S. The blog came second as a good way to have a "what happened" for my kids as they get older.
If anyone sees anything that is wrong, or you would rec a change, please do not hesitate to post. I am always looking to improve.

jwurster -- Gallery was actually pretty easy to modify. While not "fully" ingregated with WP. (users, files, etc), it serves my purpose.

Very nice. :) And I'll say with experience that is it a great thing to have a site to share your family with distant relatives, over and above having it to look back on year later. You just can't remember it all!
I only wish I'd done this sooner. (she says, after having fully documented the pregnancy, delivery and growth, up to preschool so far, of child #4)
