• What do you guys think?
    Right now there’s not much content, but I’d like some ideas as to what you’d like to see more of?

    I was originally going for game/software reviews and tutorials, but now that I think about it. There’s probably many more things people would rather read.

    I need something to pull people in (also get my page rank up)

    All comments are appreciated, positive or negative.

    BTW, I’m a 14 year old app developer. So keep my age in mind 😛

    It looks non-existent.

    i.e. you haven’t posted a visible link to your site.

    I really thought I did, anyways… Check out http://www.young-dev.co.uk
    According to JetPack’s site statistics that post referred someone to my website, I’m sure my website doesn’t break any rules so I don’t see why it’d have been removed…

    Anyways, again. All input is appreciated :).

    How did you come across that theme?

    Just that your website looks very similar from the theme it derives; I can’t see what to review that would benefit you, than the developers of the theme.

    You may want to download a fresh copy from that theme vendor then. Your style.css does not match the vendors copy. The one you have doesn’t seem to match the demo site.

    Ummm, I don’t see the difference…

    Also, I thought this area was also to review content… My apologies 😛

    Thanks anyway…

    The only difference I found was:

    /* Homepage Blog */

    .homepage-post-wrapper { position: relative; }
    .homepage-post-wrapper .post-share {  position: absolute; top: 0; left: -103px; margin-left: 0; }
    .more-link { margin: 0; margin-left: 490px; }

    But then again, I don’t see what that does.

    Sorry, my bad and I’m off topic. 😉 Your site looks nice but as Andrew mentioned looks a lot like the demo site.

    A little (totally off topic!) Linux primer: You can find if there are differences in a file by using diff or md5sum with curl.

    I did the diff but the md5sum works too.

    $ curl http://www.young-dev.co.uk/wp-content/themes/boulevard/style.css | md5sum
      % Total % Received % Xferd Average Speed Time Time Time Current
                                     Dload Upload Total Spent Left Speed
    100 30369  100 30369    0     0  38991      0 --:--:-- --:--:-- --:--:-- 69813
    32e588c11dae26383fab29eea50ce046  -
    $ curl http://boulevard.themesector.com/wp-content/themes/Boulevard/style.css | md5sum
      % Total % Received % Xferd Average Speed Time Time Time Current
                                     Dload Upload Total Spent Left Speed
    100 30057  100 30057    0     0  72017      0 --:--:-- --:--:-- --:--:--  232k
    9dd9ac9f28afba21c66707498eb9907a  -
    $

    Your copy of the style sheet is 38k while the demo site is 72k or more simply put, yours looks like an older version that someone just updated the version number. That’s why the md5sum doesn’t match as they’re different files.

    I look at these things, I’m OCD that way. 😉

    lol thanks, the theme has since changed.
    Although I’m still looking for a theme with boulevard’s great look, but a theme that still keeps WordPress’s Blog look…

    If you have any suggestions it’d be really appreciated :).

    Kind Regards,
    TheDev.
