    Hello,

I recently launched a new design for my blog with new features, etc., and wanted to get some feedback. Is there anything I could do or could have done better?

As a note, I'm not a big design fanatic, the theme was borrowed from someone, I made some minor edits to the CSS, and I commissioned the header design from a friend of mine. However, when it comes to the functionality of the blog, any suggestions? Or did I do a good job?

    Check out my blog, Webmacster87.info.

    1. too many posts on the front page.

    2. the header image is too large. keep in mind that your actual content is "below the fold" and thats where you want people to go.

    3. the sidebar is cluttered. If it were my site, I would use some sort of drop down menu for the my web stuff. There seems like a lot of .. "stuff" I just dont need..? The only thing missing is a clock :)

    4. It doesnt validate -- in fact it doesnt even come close. 158 errors.

    5. There's some redraw issues in ie6 where the page load initially goes black and then it refreshes.

    6. ie6 also picks up javascript errors. nine of them, in fact.

    7. Oh wait, there is a clock. ;(

Im not trying to be harsh, but I would say you have some tuning up to do. There's potential but it's lost.
