   Thank you ageionwl and Marcus for your input. There is an issue with the plugin/theme combination and the link is appreciated.

   RichardWPG, the theme is from StudioPress. I did a little bit of tweaking but it's pretty much out of the box. If you do a number of WordPress sites, it's well worth the price tag for the complete package of child themes. I also use Artisteer for a number of sites, but again believe in editing the resulting theme with what I've learned over the years.
