   I lost all media upload capabilities when I upgraded to 3.3 / 3.3.1:

   I followed these instructions and downgraded to 3.2.1. Now flash uploader is stuck showing a disabled "Cancel Upload" button. However, browser uploader is working again.

   Is there anything I can do to get the flash upload to work again?

   When you downgraded to WP 3.2, did you delete the old WP core and then FTP the 3.2 core, or just synchronize?

   I renamed the wp-admin and wp-includes folders and placed in the new ones. I overwrote the files in the root folder.

   I just downgraded a site from wp 3.3.1 to 3.2.1, and it went very smoothly. It was a very lean site, with little content, no plugins and the default theme. I deleted the 3.3 core before uploading the 3.2.1.
