Is there a way to downgrade successfully to 2.5 from 2.5.1? Too many bugs in this version. I upgraded manually, so I know what I replaced. Can I just replace the 2.5.1 files with the 2.5 one? What about the fact I had to upgrade my database? What happens to that if I go backwards? Thanks ahead of time.

No question about it – there are too many bugs in 2.51
How to revert back to 2.5 I used wordpress auto upgrade with automatic function enabled.

I’ve spent hours since Friday evening upgrade trying to get my site usable. The upgrade blew out my right sidebar with 13 widgets non-useable. It throws half of right sidebar widgets to bottom of main center column on FractalRed-30. On home page the right sidebar completely disappeared.

For those that follow the instructions and the manual, meaning they make a backup of the database before upgrading – going back is simple:
    a) delete the 2.5.1 files, upload the old ones
    b) restore your DB from backup

Are the problems being encountered with 2.5.1 involving upgrades or clean installs?

2.5.1 got many bugs? Why WordPress.org release it while there are so many bugs?

Justblog, how do you know about bugs if you didn’t upgrade yet? 😉
