    I have been reading these forums for the past few days and made a few tweaks to the child theme on my blog (after reading up on how to make a child theme..;) ) but have got stuck on the final two...

    1. How do you drop the height between a logo and the header image?
    2. How do you reduce the space between the page title and post text?

    Blog if here: http://www.thefinancialcircle.co.uk

    Explanation of what Im trying to do: http://www.thefinancialcircle.co.uk/screenshot.jpg

    The height is being affected by
    #site-description {
    font-size: 14px;
    margin: 0 270px 3.65625em 0;
    the gap is from 3.65625em which is the margin on the bottom in style.css.525

    the second thing is being affected by the title
    .singular .entry-title {
    font-size: 36px;
    font-weight: bold;
    line-height: 48px;
    change the line-height to 40px to start with see if that helps. You can always add a margin top and bottom to space it as you need
