• Hi there,

    VERY strange issue here :-\

    I’m using the latest version of WP on my site. When I try and write a Page or a Post it publishes fine. However, if I write a line of text, then press ‘ENTER’ a few times to provide a gap between the next line, when I click SAVE, those spaces between the lines disappear! They revert back to just a single space between the lines.

    For example:
    “Some text written here…”
    <PRESS ENTER>
    <PRESS ENTER>
    <PRESS ENTER>
    “Some more text written here…”

    When I click on SAVE, those ‘ENTERS’ just disappear. This never happened on any of the previous versions of WP I have used.

    Pleas help!

    Kashif.

  • I get this too- but only on certain themes – I just changed the theme, so it would be interesting to get an answer on this too

    I had this on a theme of mine also, basically tinymce replaces the carriage returns by <p> tags. I added some margin to the p class in style.css of my theme and the problem was fixed 😉
    It’s just a workaround, but it does the job well.

    Thanks for those suggestions.

    The theme I’m using is called ‘Moreorange’.

    The link for it is given below.

    Perhaps there is some kind of glitch in the code for this theme. Could someone (more clued up than me!) kindly take a look?

    Much appreciated.

    Kashif.
