Retrieve Thumbnail

    If you are trying to alter the template, then the thumbnail is the same directory as the pdf file. so from my site it is in wp-content/uploads/2014/04 but this would depend on your wordpress settings.

    If you are trying to add to page or post you need to use the insert media button and select the pdf and change drop to required thumbnail size (instead of link only)
