    Hi,

First of all – thanks for the great plugin. I’m using WP 3.9.1 and Twenty Fourteen child theme – Sequel with Styles: Twenty Fourteen and Twenty Fourteen Extended plugins. Everything works great except one thing: when I choose Result direction as “down”, the results cover the search box instead of showing beneath it. The result direction “up” works perfectly fine – results show up above the search box and they do not cover it.

Is this normal? I think this should be fixed.

BTW: You should stress out in “Installation” that until someone goes to plugin’s settings page and clicks on Save changes, it will not work (it took me a while to realize this, and I think many of people who says they get no results simply didn’t do that step).

    cheers

Sorry I forgot to mention – it happens on search widget on the left sidebar. The main search on the top works fine.

Until I win the lottery and can retire from my day job, I can’t customize my plugin to be compatible with every theme out there. I do test with the stock WordPress themes, so it sounds like your issue is related to something the Sequel with Styles theme adds on top of the basic Twenty Fourteen. That’s why I have the “offset” setting in the plugin’s admin screen to let you move the box up or down by a couple pixels if you can’t fix it in CSS.
