   I have a public site with a member area where they have to login to gain access.
   What i would like is, if members login that they remain in the site front and see their pages without first going to the admin panel.

   Is there a plugin for this purpose..

   A plugin that allows easy login and redirects to current page:
   QuickLogin

   Search the Plugins Directory for QuickLogin to install on your blog.

   Or Peter's Login Redirect - seems to have some good 5 star ratings:

   I've never used it myself.
