[resolved] Responsive descriptions (4 posts)

The slideshow looks great when viewed on different devices except for the description overlay. When viewed on a mobile device, the description overlay takes up 3/4 of the photo and the font is still huge. Is there a setting to make the slideshow descriptions responsive?

You could use CSS media queries to make the slideshow's font responsive. In the FAQ section you can read how to create a custom stylesheet for your slideshow.

The slideshow's font size is based on your theme's font size, adapting the font size in the theme would also adjust the font size in the slideshow.

So, in other words, responsive descriptions are not incorporated directly into the plugin and won't be in the future?

    That's correct. I'm sorry.

The slideshow simply can't calculate what text-size would be readable on different kinds of devices. Anything that looks good in a WordPress default theme, could look horrible in a different theme. That's why it's best to leave this to the designer to decide.
