I'm trying to find a resource for a Responsive Charity/Non-Profit Template. I have already purchased one from an author that is not supporting his product. I am a very new WordPress user and have a client that would like to see what I can offer him but I seem to be going in circles as there are so many great templates out there.

Please advise or point me in the right direction and is it possible to get a template that is attractive or close to what I want and be able to add any of the features that my client may want; donate button, newsletter, membership subscription etc.

    Thanks in advance.

Try the Filters when searching WordPress.org

You really don't need a "type" of theme -- any theme can be used for any purpose -- generally better to look for the layout and functionality you want than what someone else thinks a non-profit site should look like.

All of what you mention can be easily done in almost any theme via plug-ins or simply adding code to the site.

Is it then possible to start from scratch and "build" your own template that suits your needs? I would like to start out with a blank slate (responsive format) and add the features that my client will want.

Is there a responsive plug-in or template that i can start with?

    Thanks in advance.
