I don’t think it’s a plugin at all.
I’m running Atalhaulpa theme, and I went to their forums and they said it was a WP issue. I guess because it’s on the dashboard??
I wasn’t aware wp did that natively
*shrug* I don’t have a clue. I thought it was there from day one. Shows you how much I pay attention, huh? Ok. I guess not.
Back to the research of playing with the plugins then. Thank you so much, Samuel. I really do appreciate it. 🙂
Found it, Samuel! I apparently skipped over it when looking through the plug-ins. Don’t ask me how. Sorry.
It was the “Comment Email Responder” plugin. Apparently it’s not working now. I hope they get it fixed soon because this is an AWESOME plug-in.
Sorry for the trouble.
hey – troubleshoot it
deactivate all plugins
now activate the “Comment Email Responder” plugin
does it work now?
if so, activate other plugins one by one until you find conflict
Hi Samuel – Just an FYI – troubleshooting it with ALL of my plugins deactivated still didn’t work. I think the “Comment Email Responder” is buggy. Thanks for the advice though. 🙂

I used to be able to click the little envelope icon on my dashboard for each comment {Respond to this comment} and it would thread my reply on my blog AND e-mail the person I was replying to. Now that envelope icon isn’t clickable and I get an error script message at the bottom lower corner of my brower window.
I now have to click on “reply” and my replies are threaded on my blog, but it does not send my reply to the commentor. Which entails me wasting a lot of time to get a reply via e-mail to the commentor.
I’ve tried it in Firefox and IE and have the same issues in both browers.
Please help!
