    Hi,

    Currently, my layout is text on the left with sidebar on the right. I want to keep that layout. As is, my text tends to line up far to the left. I want my text to extend across the page with an equal-sized margin on each side of the page. Can anybody help with this? Thanks.

    M.

    Have you knowledge of CSS?
    May you link your web page of the issue?
    Are you using a Custom Theme/ Child Theme or do you have a Custom Style/CSS plugin?

    Thanks, Andrew. I want to extend the text so that it aligns with the full width of the page. Currently the text on the page appears too narrow.

    Andrew, I know what CSS is but have no experience tinkering with it.

    Sorry. Not specific enough. I want the YouTube video and the text beneath it to align with the header rotator. It looks like I just have to center both the text and the video in the post, no?

    This is possible with CSS by adding widths of 100% to the selectors

    .singular .entry-content,
    #primary

    I would recommend using this plugin to implement this
    wordpress.org/extend/plugins/custom-css-manager-plugin/

    So within the allocated area instructed of the plugin, enter this;

    .singular .entry-content,
    #primary {
     width: 100%;
    }

    Here's a resource on CSS width
    http://www.w3schools.com/cssref/pr_dim_width.asp

    And a resource on CSS selectors
    http://www.w3schools.com/cssref/css_selectors.asp

    Sorry, do you want the video centred?

    Andrew, Yes, I want the video centered.

    Just to let you know, your suggestion/direction worked. This is the very first time that I've gotten advice/support at WordPress Forum that has worked. I can't tell you how amazing it feels to get a problem solved. Thank you so, so much. I will look at the CSS resources. I am so happy that I got that one problem fixed. Yes!!

    Now, I am tempted to put a few other gnawing problems to you as well. Thank you so much.

    Within that plugin's allocated area, you could try adding;

    #content object {
     display: block;
     margin: 0 auto;
    }
