Reset wp-admin Password Email doesn't send me an email

I have somehow lost my password for my wp-admin password on my wordpress blog. (Not sure how since I use lastpass).

Try to reset it and it says “Check your e-mail for the confirmation link.”

It never gets sent to my gmail inbox or spam folder. This has been a problem for a year or 2. I have just changed it from another login. How can I get the emails to get to me? Thanks!

Where is your site hosted? Have you gone through:

My site is hosted through bluehost.
I actually can’t login to another user either otherwise I would have changed it that way.

It won’t send me an email. I am worried my site might have been hacked.

Did you try the methods that don’t require access to the Dashboard?

BlueHost should be able to help you with FTP access or how to use phpMyAdmin.

That was my next step. But clearly there is a password recovery issue. Have tired 2 different emails and nothing.

I’m having the same issue. The problem is that the password recovery email is sent but does not make it to my email (inbox or spam folder). I’m also worried my site may have been hacked.

… and I’ve already tried the FTP method of changing the password and it gives me error messages when I try to sign in.

i’m also using Bluehost hosting and have the same problem. my blog is suddenly access denied. and I don’t no what to do about. every time i’m calling bluehost its more the half an hour to wait and i need an emergency acceess and tried all above and nothing works for me. anybody have other Idea meantime ill try Bluehost and im not sure they can help me neither.

I’m having the same problem. my page is http://www.capeshorechorale.org. The e-mails should go to christine@cornwallavenue.com, but I never receive them.
