Reset Password, not dumb, I've tried changing it in MySQL

One day went to log onto my site and the password wouldn’t work.

What I’ve tried:
of course the “lost password” button, didn’t work.
logged into myphp through godaddy and reset from there, no good
ran the emergency.php script, got an email but the new password was no good
