   One day went to log onto my site and the password wouldn't work.

   What I've tried:
   of course the "lost password" button, didn't work.
   logged into myphp through godaddy and reset from there, no good
   ran the emergency.php script, got an email but the new password was no good

   Sounds like you may have something goofy crawling around the site, have you investigated your database?

   @Carmellom: I'm not too familiar with databases, is there anything in particular you would recommend looking for?

   @t-p: Thank you, but I have followed that documentation step by step with no success.

   Look for anything that seems spammy. There are many articles out there on resetting your password from the database. I would try that.
