Events Manager
[resolved] Rescheduling recurring event results in blank white screen (6 posts)

I have a long list of events, some of which are recurring events. When viewed in the master list, recurring events have a "Reschedule" link in the right-hand column. When I click on that link, it takes me to the editor page for the respective recurring event. If I then make changes and hit "Submit Event," the editor page reloads as a blank white field. The change is not saved, and the only content on the page at that point is the left-side WordPress admin nav.

    Any ideas?

can you try to turn-on WP_DEBUG or check your php logs to see if there's any other error? also, just to narrow down the problem have you tried to temporarily:

    - deactivating all other plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    - switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems

I went into eme_recurrence.php and removed both instances of "eme_upload_event_picture($event)," and now when I reschedule a recurring event and click "Submit Event," the changes aren't saved, and the top-level "Events" list loads, but is preceded by a bunch of instances of this:

WordPress database error: [Unknown column 'use_2co' in 'field list']
    UPDATE <code>wp_eme_events</code> SET <code>event_name</code> = 'Model United Nations Meets', <code>event_status</code> = '1', <code>event_start_date</code> = '2012-09-03', <code>event_end_date</code> = '2013-09-30', <code>event_start_time</code> = '10:00:00', <code>event_end_time</code> = '23:00:00', <code>event_rsvp</code> = '0', <code>rsvp_number_days</code> = '0', <code>registration_requires_approval</code> = '0', <code>registration_wp_users_only</code> = '0', <code>event_seats</code> = '0', <code>use_paypal</code> = '0', <code>use_2co</code> = '0', <code>use_webmoney</code> = '0', <code>use_google</code> = '0', <code>price</code> = '0.00', <code>currency</code> = 'EUR', <code>event_image_url</code> = '', <code>event_contactperson_id</code> = '-1', <code>event_notes</code> = 'Visit My Laurel Springs for more details...\r\n<a href=\"http://[foo].com/groups/model_un/default.aspx\">http://[foo]/groups/model_un/default.aspx</a>', <code>event_page_title_format</code> = '', <code>event_single_event_format</code> = '', <code>event_contactperson_email_body</code> = '', <code>event_respondent_email_body</code> = '', <code>event_registration_pending_email_body</code> = '', <code>event_registration_form_format</code> = '', <code>event_url</code> = '', <code>event_slug</code> = 'model-united-nations-meets/', <code>event_category_ids</code> = '', <code>event_attributes</code> = 'a:0:{}', <code>location_id</code> = '0', <code>recurrence_id</code> = '12', <code>modif_date</code> = '2013-03-01 18:20:46', <code>modif_date_gmt</code> = '2013-03-01 18:20:46' WHERE <code>event_id</code> = '141'

(Also, FYI: I downloaded the latest version of the plugin manually, deactivated the existing plugin, reinstalled using latest version via FTP, reactivated. No joy.)

    see your error above,

    /var/www/[foo]/wp-content/plugins/events-made-easy/

your plugin is events made easy, not events manager

My bad. The admin URL is wp-admin/admin.php?page=events-manager, so I thought it was called "Events Manager."

Back to the drawing board ...
