   I am new to WordPress and to blogging. I notice my friends blog (through blogspot) requires people to register or login through (google, yahoo...) before they can post. I also notice the site required captcha to prevent spam.

   1. If I select require registration, when you click the link, it takes you to WP and there seems to only be a place to login but not to register (am I missing something?).
   2. Should I require people to login to comment to prevent spam
   3. Should I also use captcha to prevent spam
   4. If so, it does not appear the theme i purchased has that capability to do the captcha and definitely not to logon through another service - is it possible to get a tool like that?

   ...and should I require the same to leave a general comment on the site?
