I am having difficulty with one question in a GoogleForm on one of my websites (here is the link to the page with the embedded form: http://utopian-studies.org/conference2013/registration/). It is the question entitled, “Conference Registration Payment Options” (4th from the bottom), and even though a user chooses one of the options, when s/he clicks “Submit,” the question turns red, saying it is required, and the form does not submit.

I tried to trouble-shoot it in a variety of manners, deleting the question and re-creating it; changing the type of question (to a checkbox); making the question not required (which allows the form to submit, but the data from the checked off choice still did not record in the accompanying GoogleSpreadsheet and confirmation e-mails). This problem does not occur in the online GoogleForm; it only happens in the embedded form using the plugin.

I use other GoogleForms with this plugin on other pages/sites, and I have no problem with the other forms, or any of other questions (similarly formatted) in this form, and this question also used to work fine. This is a recent issue (the last successful submission was 10 days ago), and I have the most up-to-date version of your plugin (I thought that update would solve the issue, but it didn’t).

Any advice you could offer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!

I am guessing that the single quotes in the response to that question may be causing a problem. Let me see if I can mock up a test case and verify it.

Can you download this beta release and let me know if it addresses your issue?

On your first suggestion, I deleted the apostrophe in the question choice, and that solved the problem: now the form submits and records the data correctly. Many many thanks for your help!

Did you try the beta release? It should have worked with the apostrophes as you originally had them.

I didn’t try the beta release yet, as we don’t have a good development site and the live site is getting a lot of traffic right now (there are registration and membership deadlines approaching for our conference). I look forward to trying the new version in the future though. Thanks again for your help!

Resolved in v0.58 which has been released.
