Requesting a Product Quotation

I read someplace that the DukaPress can be used like a catalog, and products could be added to a “cart”, but instead of checking out and purchasing the products, the user can somehow “request a quotation” for the selected products. Is this possible, if so, is there documentation somehow to explain how it’s done? It would be exactly what I’m looking for if it is possible. Thanks
