I'm getting an error message:
"The requested URL /Blog.html/wp-login.php was not found on this server."
The subdirectory on my domain is PrayerBlog and there is a page shown on the main directory as Blog.html
I'm not sure what I did, but I'd like to get it back to working. I get a 404 not found error message, even when I try to log in.
Sounds like the Installed Location and/or URL was mistyped when you installed WordPress. Can you get into your admin panel at all? This would be yoururl/prayerblog/wp-admin
After logging in, it may attempt to shoot you to your 404, but after that, try entering yoururl/prayerblog/wp-admin/options-general.php to update the addresses.
If that doesn't work, you're going to need to manually edit the entries in your Database.

Is there a file name in the db?
This thread actually covers what to look for in the DB.

Got into the database and both URLs match--home and site url are both /Blog.html and I'm still getting the 404 Not found message.

I even changed the name of the subdirectory to match what WP seemed to be looking for "Blog.html" from the original "PrayerBlog" and still got the 404 not found message.
You need to have it listed as a directory, not a file. If WP is installed at http://www.focus-on-prayer.com/prayerblog/ - that needs to be the address listed in the DB - leave out the blog.html
If you still have problems, can you post the address of the blog since I couldn't find it at the above address?

Justin--if you're there...I just found out I get a 404 error when I click on any of the comments or archives. I can get to them if I'm in the admin mode.
Obviously the address is wrong somewhere. Where in the database can I find it/them?
Thanks.
