Request regarding argentinean/spanish translation

Hello Claudio, I just want to suggest one improvement in the translation, since the vast majority of WordPress installs deployed in spanish talking websites come from the spanish version zip package provided by wordpress.org, thus the localization files are es_ES. Your plugin provide the es_AR version, and I can simply rename the files, es_AR to es_ES, but whenever you update the plugin, all of the changes are reset in all the sites I’ webmastering.
I wonder others have the same issue, but resign to rename the files on every update.
Can you, simply duplicate the files for next upgrades?

hi, there’s no need to translate anything else. You simply need to copy es_AR to es_ES versions to make it readable for the es_ES version of wordPress downloadable from here: http://es.wordpress.org/ , which is the most common source for all those who talk spanish.

These are only two files to replicate in the packages. You could rename es_AR by es_ES as well, and it could work much better so you don’t have to worry anymore about this 😉 Just keep up the good translation in one set 🙂

But I can not say whether this translation this good xD

But if you say that everything is ok but I can make the package es_ES.

Append I have a grandfather who was born in Spain I never studied any Spanish in my life xD

Well. I double checked the strings. Some minor fixes in verbs, terms, conjugations… It’s standard, plain, spanish, not argentinean 😉 usable in any country in Latam.

He already translated.
Just use the WordPress version es_ES
