Hello
I'm new to this community and I have a doubt. I'm a textbook writer and I found an interesting text on a blog called http://www.studentzona.com/ and I would like to use it in my book. I couldn't find any means of contacting the blog author and I ended up in the Word Press page. Does anyone know whether I can use the text or not? How can I request permission to use it?
Essentially, not without permission from the copyright holder (which might be, and might not be, the blog owner) -- although you can generally use *snippets* of the text for purposes of discussion (but not the whole text, or most of it).
You could look up the domain name at a domain registrar to find out who the owner is.

You could try commenting on the post you want to use - that might get the attention of the owner.
