• I’m unsure if this has been suggested before (which it probably has) but why not support the use of multiple blogs on one installation of WordPress (similiar to that of MT). It doesn’t seem like it would be that difficult of a feature to add. All you would probably have to do to the database is add blog ID numbers, and then when you call a blog, you just specify which ID number. *shrugs*

  • ok !
we will use multi instalation of WP with different table prefixes and….
and then when the next release is available and there is MultiBlog Feature in it !
so can we merg these seprated installation blogs into the ONE new release blog with multiblog feature ?!
any certain way to import them into one !
    with settings , templates , users and ….. ?!

We’ll just have to be patient and see how it will all work, but be assured the devs will do everything they can to make the transition as painless as possible.
Also, “the next release” is subject to interpretation. However, the ability to have true multi-blog support is in the works.

ok, this might be tough.. but will the new version will able to merge multiple blogs running on differnet subdomains?

Tanx NuclearMoose ! I know how the devs r perseverant and compassionate ! and i always respect them cuz of this ! 😉
and Tanx Sushubh ! and i just want to know that ! 😉
I am a Designer ( just a beginner ! ) and i have responsibility about CMS systems that i use 4 my Cutomers and i must be answerable in the Future ! 😉
    Tanx again …

different subdomains is more complex as the directories are on a total different structure on servers running plesk. cpanel has subdomain directories on the same folder the main domain runs… my server run plesk 🙁

    yeah ! ;-/
but i think there is no problem !
cuz of the WP havent any static pages(like MT) in the installation direstori and u can change the direstory every time u want ! so u cak change it to a directory in your / on your website !
but also Cpanel and EnsimPro are more syitable and friendly than others 😉
