[request] Increase varchar limit on link_description out of the box

    Would it be possible to increase the varchar limit on link_description? It is currently set at 256 which keeps me running against a wall.

    I know I can manually change it in my dbase, however whenever I upgrade WP resets it to 256. It’s be great if out of the box it were 1024.
