Request - image/gallery handling (8 posts)

I have a couple of easy suggestions that would be nice to be implemented in a future release...

    1. The new drag-and-drop feature for uploading images in a post is very nice, however because I watermark my images, when I need not to watermark one I have to switch back to the old "browser uploader" so that I can select not to watermark the image, then I switch back to the new feature, which is somewhat annoying to do every time. Can there be a similar tick option in the new drag-and-drop feature?

    2. It would be nice if there was a way to select multiple images and insert them into the post (not a gallery). I tend to use images in all my posts, and I comment of them. Which means that I have to select and insert each one of them. Imagine doing this for 15 images let's sanstead of being able of marking them all and insterting them all at once.

I wonder, are the developers ever reading this section???

You need to direct this question to the author of the plugin you are using to watermark your images.

Same thing applies for question #2, or that one is related only to wordpress application?

What the different between inserting multiple images in a post and a gallery? If you do not want all of the images displayed together, then you cannot expect WordPress to know where to insert them within your content. You simply have to use a case-by-case insertion.

Alternatively, you could insert a gallery and link the images to an attachment page. That way you could use the image Description field for your image-specific comments.

A gallery makes thumbnails at the bottom of the post, if I am not mistaken. I am not expectind WordPress to know where to insert the images, but after I put them in the order I want, it would be nice if I could select some (let's say by holding down the ctrl key) or all of them, and insert them all together. Then I can write between them and do whatever I want. For now as I said you can only insert one image at a time. I don't think this is so difficult to implement.

It makes thumbnails, yes but a gallery an be inserted at any point in your posts - not just at the bottom.

Well, I want to insert without having thumbnails at the bottom, if I put 15 photos it will be crowded with thumbnails. The watermarking might be a feature of the plugin, but multi-insert is a feature I suppose that the wordpress developers can do.
