    I was looking at how to split apart my link lists so that one particular one (website sections) can be first, and then the other two can come after archive links farther down the page. Although you can use wp_get_links to get just the one set of links, there's no obvious way to do something similar but with exclusions. This would be good to minimize the hardcoding of more ids (in case new link lists are made in the future, etc.).

    Something like how you exclude pages would be perfect.

    Can't you use the wp_get_links more than one times?
    It says in Parameters:
    category
    (integer) The numeric ID of the link category whose links will be displayed. You must select a link category, if none is selected it will generate an error.

    Hi,
    in the function get_pages, i have added:
    $exclusions = 'AND menu_order > -1';

    I did this to have a machanism that enables me to set the page order of a page to -1 so that I can prevent these page to show up in the Pages section of my homepage.
