    greetings.

i work for a non-profit arts organization and we will be initiating a blog for use by our artists in residence. initially we will only have 8 bloggers, but over time this number will heavily increase.

i am looking for advice and working examples on other resources that have implemented a blog for multiple users. we will be using wordpress as our blogging software, so especially if you know of WP sites that are similar to our plan, please forward me on these details.

the basic arrangement will be something like:
*blog administered by two to three staffers, each with full admin privs
*initially 8 accounts or profiles generated for current artists in residence
*as we add about 4-8 new artists in residence every 10 months, this number of users will increase and as such the acctivity on the blog

so i'm looking for other creative resources that use blogs as a means of communication. either by writers, philosophers, artists, musicians, etc. if you know of a place that employs multiple-users to spread creative ambition, please tell me!

thanks for your time, and love WordPress!

    Hi nick normal!

I don't know if this is of any interest to you, but there is a discussion on WPJ codex on different methods of crafting a multiple blog: http://codex.xwd.jp/index.php/Installing_Multiple_Blogs
It's about the tech aspects, and may give you some hints.

That's not actually a "discussion" petit points out, but a mirror of one of the WordPress Codex pages (i.e. Docs), the original and typically most up to date of which is here:

Interesting! The very thing I was trying to find out about, also in order to set up a multi-user blog for an arts non-profit! I'll check out that link, and I'd love to hear about your progress, Nick.
