Reposting an old article so that it appears on the front page again

    How do you make an old post re-appear of the home page? I need this because several posts will be updated regularly, and I want them to jump on the first page when that happens, so that people will see the updated version.

    I don’t want them to be sticky (stay on top), I just want the to behave as new posts.

    Editing the post date might work. I’m not sure. If that works… You will have to do that manually. The post date doesn’t by default change when you edit a post. If you have dates in your URLs you may end up with broken links though. Again, not sure.

    You could also alter the main query to sort by post_modified instead of post_date. I can’t think of any real issues that might come from that but there may be some. I’ve never tried it.
