Repost expired posts?

Is there anyway of reposting expired posts? So it will be the same as add post function except it retains all the information like the edit post function.

I am using plain text front end posting, when a post expired I want users to be able to repost the expired post. So it will move the post out of “draft(expired)” to “published” and it pre-populates all the information before user can click repost to publish it.
