    Hello -
    Long time user, developer, and plugin builder.

    Problem is that our plugin credentials for uploading and maintaining our plugin in the repository:

    a) will not function after request for new password
    b) will not function after set-up of account which should already be recognized.

    Sequence is like this:

    • We go log in to our main repository account under the name of "WebFadds", with last password
    • We get a message that it is not recognized and so we request a new password
    • On receipt of new password from system we go and attempt login with it and receive message: "This username does not exist. Register it?"
    • We register it, but then do not receive any notice from the sytem

    I assume the same username is required to work on a plugin in the repository -- ours is at http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/maxref-widgets/ ?

    I ask that because I have been able to set up a separate account ok. If it is required, please advise on how to login as "WebFadds", given the problems above.

  2. http://wordpress.org/support/profile/webfadds exists so you're okay there and I make sure the account isn't flagged inactive.

    When you tried to log in with the new password, you used WebFadds as the ID? Special funky caps included?
