    In my child theme, how can I have the “leave a reply” function on one page and not another? And/or how can I have the “leave a reply” function for posts and not for pages?

    If you enable comments, in order to not have comments on Pages, you need to go to the Pages admin page and uncheck the ‘allow comments’. You can use bulk edit to do so or do so individually.

    By creating a custom “no comments” page template, I’ve been able to remove the “leave a reply” area.
