• My client’s current website is built on Drupal. I’ve built a WordPress site in a sub-folder (example.com/wordpress) but now I don’t know how to take it live.

Any suggestions? The Drupal installation does have an htaccess file in the root directory but it’s for Drupal’s php commands and I’m afraid if I just comment out the whole page I’ll screw up everything.

    Thanks,

    Chuck

  • Hi,

do you want the site to work on example.com/wordpress or you want it to work on example.com?

Since if you want it to work on example.com you must remove all drupal files and upload WordPress in the root directory.

If you still need drupal online to retrieve information, simply move the drupal to a local installation so you still have access to it.
