• Hi everyone!

I’ve been looking around for a plugin or other way to do this and haven’t found one. I have a theme that lets me create beautiful custom pages under the standard ‘page’ section of wordpress, but i’d like to be able to replace a catgory archive page with a ‘page’, so say http://www.example.com/category1/ instead of showing a standard archive page for category1 would show a ‘page’ that I create in the pages section on the backend.

I know I can create custom template files but I don’t want to do that, I need to be able to use the ‘page builder’ that my theme inputs into the page functionality.

I should also mention that I don’t want to redirect. I use a plugin that makes my categories into subdomains, so it’s actually more like category1.example.com . And every post in that category has that subdomain, so I want the main category page to be category1.example.com, I just don’t want it to display a standard archive page, I want it to display a custom page.
