replacing a built-in admin page (1 post)

I'm writing a plug-in that will replace the built-in Manage > Pages admin page. The plug-in itself is coming along nicely, but there are two things I can't figure out:

    1. When you go to Manage > Pages, click Edit to edit a page, then click Save, you're taken back to Manage > Pages. How can my plug-in change that so you're taken back to the plugin's page instead (without making the user edit .htaccess)?
    2. I know how to add an item to the Manage menu, but I don't know how to delete or replace one. Can this be done from within the plugin?
