• Hi all, This might be the shortest thread in history but I’m hoping it isn’t.
Here’s what I’m trying to work out if I can do.
I have content on a page that will change every 24 hours. I know about and have page expirator, and its great, however it doesn’t fix my problem.
What I want to see if is there a way to have the top menu stay the same but the content that happens when its clicked on is controlled by when the page is published and told to expire without me going in manually at midnight every night and changing it over. As at some point in time thats going to start eating into sleep.

So, top menu item will always be called “Daily” but the content under it when clicked changes.
Hope that makes sense. I have looked for hours today and hours yesterday but so far can’t see if it can be done.
Thanks ahead of time for any input.
    M

I think it may work if instead of putting the content directly into a page, use a page using a custom template that pulls in the latest post from a particular category (or a custom post type with a custom taxonomy). Then as the posts expire and new ones are published, only the most recent published post will ever be displayed on the page.

The page would keep the same name & menu link, and only the content would change. It should be fairly straightforward to create a page template that enables you to achieve the result you require.
