   I was about to write and new post and I saw that the postmeta table crashed. I went to login in phpadmin and I didn't know the password so I changed it so I could access it. I then repaired the table and realized the database wasn't being accessed since I changed the password. I then opened wp-config and changed the password back to what it was.

   Then next problem was that when I tried to write a post I got the error that I didn't have permission to write a post. I searched the forums and couldn't quite find the same problem stemming from the same situation. I only found people who had this problem after upgrading.

   Finally for some reason I can't even log in anymore. My password and user name aren't allowing me in to the dashboard anymore. I'm running WP 2.0.2 Can someone please help. Thanks in advance.

   Wonder if more than just your postmeta table crashed? Have a backup you could restore?

   Yes almost all of the tables crashed and everything was fixed when I repaired them. Thanks for responding.
